About the Dentist
Dr. Aimee Abittan is a dentist and Nevada Army National Guardsman crafting healthy, radiant smiles with precision and care. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She had a Bachelor of Science in Health Ecology degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. She has completed advanced training in esthetics, TMJ/TMD disorders, and full mouth rehabilitation.
Dr. Abittan brings years of experience in general dentistry. She performs a wide range of services, including oral surgery, prosthetics placement, and treating temporomandibular disorders (TMJ/TMD). She is an expert in dental sleep medicine and breathing disorders.
Dr. Abittan is dedicated to serving others. As a Captain in the Nevada Army National Guard, she provides annual dental exams to soldiers. She actively advocates for better patient care as Vice President of the Nevada Dental Association. A Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, she strives to improve patients’ quality of life by addressing their breathing issues. Additionally, through her volunteer work with Los Medicos Voladores, she offers free dental care to underserved communities across Southern California, Mexico, and Central America.
A Reno native, Dr. Abittan enjoys skiing, mountain biking, gardening, reading, cooking, and traveling. She and her husband have two toddlers, two poodles, and a cat.
